I am currently working on a photography and video projects about China (including Hong Kong, SAR), Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia. It is taking a longer to finish due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and travel restrictions, but now it will resume filming since some travel restrictions have been eased. For sure, I would have to come back a few times from other countries I visit and live in before this project is completed. For now, I posted a few pictures of what I have so far. It does not mean that these will be the final images selected for the project. They might not even be the final images for the project. Anyway to get updated with my project as well as ongoing projects such as future photography and video projects in South Korea, Hong Kong and other Asian countries, please like my Facebook page, follow me on Instagram or Twitter and subscribe to my YouTube channel and Pinterest. You can also support my projects at Patreon. Thanks.
Vietnam
To me, Vietnam was an eye opening experience the first time I went there. It is far from the images of Vietnam we usually see from the media. In some ways, we still see the images of the Vietnam war, but now Vietnam is considered to be the fastest growing economy in Asia. Vietnam is quite beautiful. And the people are quite nice. Of course you will also encounter some bad people who will try to rip you off or steal from you, but it is understandable in some ways, Vietnam is still a developing country. Not that I tolerate these petty crimes, but just be cautious not just in this country but also other countries. As for the big city of Hi Chi Minh City, I didn't like it too much, but I love the small cities of Dalat, a mountain city famous for it's coffee plantations, Nha Trang and Danang, both seaside towns. As a long term goal for my project in Vietnam, my goal is to do portraits of its people and their traditional clothes. I do feel that of all the Southeast Asian countries, its culture is much closer to the Chinese (other than the Chinese diaspora of Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries).

Chiang Mai, Thailand
One of my favorite cities in Thailand just because it is very laid back, so I can spend more time doing my creative tasks here such as writing, editing pictures and videos and others. They have cafes everywhere, and quite a few big ones are open 24 hours a day. The only bad thing is that it is not near the beach, but it does have great nature and mountains. In some ways, this is the transition place in between my travels to different countries in Asia.
Bangkok, Thailand
Hua Hin, Thailand
Krabi, Thailand
I was able to do the 7 Islands Tour, and it was quite impressive. The only bad thing is that it rained unexpectedly; nevertheless, it was still fun. I will write a blog about my experience later and do a vlog about it, so make sure to follow/like/subscribe to my Social Media Channels for updates.
Malaysia
Malaysia is such an interesting country because of its diversity because it is composed of different people: the Malays, the Chinese, and the Indians with different religions: Muslim (the majority), Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Christians and others, and they get along with each other and respect each other's faith. The country itself is very beautiful and its people are quite nice and friendly. My long term goal for my project here is to capture its diversity and to show the culture of each of the different people
Cambodia
Cambodia is a country that has a tumultuous history. Unfortunately I never had the chance to spend more time over there, but I learned a lot just by talking to one of the locals over there. For sure, I would like to go back and explore this country some more, especially its history. Definitely it needs to be told to the world, especially with images and words, both written and oral. That is my goal for my project in this country.
