I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Photography and worked as an assistant to fashion photographers in Paris, France for my first job. As a photographer and as a filmmaker, my objective is to create or capture an image that depicts beauty in my own way. Every photographer and filmmaker has his own vision, and my vision is to show to the viewers how I define beauty.
Currently I am working on a long term photography and video project in China and the Chinese culture from other parts of the world where there is a big Chinese diaspora, showing its beauty, both in its people and its places, not just the cities in China but also the Chinatowns and Chinese communities all over the world.
In addition to being a photographer and a filmmaker, I am also a writer. Being obsessive with creativity, I like to write stories, mostly screenplays, which I hope will be produced into films. My stories are usually set in the countries I've visited since my goal is tell stories set in these countries and at the same time, expose the world to these countries, which probably most people don't know anything about, except from the news. They're genre stories, so they still appeal to most international audience, who grew up watching Hollywood films
Having worked as a creative digital media producer, I like to combine all of these skills into one and just be creative.
Though I am from Los Angeles, California, I am currently traveling all over Asia and will also travel to South America and Europe soon. I am considering doing some photography and video projects and will have exhibitions and screenings over there. My goal is to break down the walls between countries and create a bridge to unite us together as one human race.
