Bruce Lee's Philosophy - Something I Follow

Bruce Lee really had a great philosophy, and that is something I follow.

1) "You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend." That's why I can adapt to any culture, country, situation, environment, etc. I respect people, and I adapt to their way of thinking and their own culture. I don't impose my own way of thinking on them.

2) “In the middle of chaos lies opportunity" “Out of chaos, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. " If I had not gone beyond my comfort zone and pushed it to the limit, I would not have been able to find the great opportunities and unique experience I got and continue to get.

3) "It is not a daily increase, but a daily decrease. Hack away at the inessentials." That's why I now keep everything simple. Very few clothes. Just my cameras, computers and a few necessary gadgets. The less you have, the less you have to worry about. I continue to learn that life should be simple. I just find something to focus on and simplify. I took out what I didn't really need and kept only the necessities. As for friends, I took out anyone who make my life complicated; though, I made an exception to two people, my Mom and one special woman, but there's a reason why she's that way. Besides, she treats me quite well 😁.

4) "Knowledge will give you power, but character respect." Character gives you more respect than education. Even material things won't give you respect. If you are liked for what you have or own, then that is not a sincere "like." I have sincere friends here in Asia, not because of what I have or own but because of my character. I never had to fit in their mold. They accept me for what I am.

5) "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering." To feel life first hand with an awesome experience rather than seeing life just on TV and on the phone is definitely worth remembering. I don't judge people, a country or anything based on what I hear from the news or an article online but based on my interactions with them. I live my life according to my rules, not the society's imposed rules.
