In every city I live in or stay in, knowing which public transportation is available to me is very important, especially since here in Asia, I don't drive, which I feel liberating, having driven most of my life. For me, driving a car all the time is not environmentally friendly and not cost effective. In the US, it is a necessity, especially in Los Angeles, California since we don't have a good public transportation. That's why I like San Francisco, but then again, San Francisco is way more expensive to live in than Los Angeles. Anyway compared to Hong Kong, Bangkok is not as great as that city. But actually it is not as bad as I thought. It is just that it just takes a little bit more research and also unexpected discovery to find the way around in this city.
